Lee Bo Young revealed Lee Sang Yoon’s hidden side.
On 29th November 2012, Lee Bo Young, Lee Sang Yoon, Park Hae Jin, and Park Jung Ah appeared on KBS 2TV ‘Happy Together 3’, and entertained viewers with their witty personality.
As Yoo Jae Seok asked about college entrance exam score, Lee Sang Yoon shared that he obtained 370 out of 400. Yoo Jae Seok asked him back whether he ever cried for getting one question wrong, and Lee Sang Yoon said that he never did anything like it.
Then, Lee Bo Young said, “Lee Sang Yoon has the intellectual and sharp image on him, and I used to always listen to him carefully. But, then, he’s not really like that.”
Lee Bo Young told that she once forgot her line, so she went through her script. Then, Lee Sang Yoon gave a detailed information and page number.
However, Lee Bo Young couldn’t find it, and told that she searched the entire script to find it herself. She said, “It’s not that Sang Yoon was incorrect, but it’s just that he never gave me a helpful information.”

Read on Soompi forum that Lee Sang Yoon certainly has a “goofy/nerdy” side to him.
In one of his many interviews with Section TV back in March 2003, the MC said that LSY is perceived more as a “heodang” (a Korean/hangeul term for someone who is unexpectedly clumsy and sometimes slow) rather than an “eomchinah” and asked if he is really like that. LSY answered “YES”. He said that even when he looks at himself, he thinks that way and in actual fact, he said that he is a bit like Bingo (this is an old famous Korean comedy character known for his silly antics and big wide empty smiles).
He went on to explain that because he played those types of characters in his dramas, people think that he’s really like that. With the help of great camera work, experts’ help, and with the help of other drama characters, LSY said that he becomes the “eomchinah”.
